We continue to work on some additional events for August and the fall, you will be informed as the arrangements are finalized. As you can see, we have a variety of events planned, we always need volunteers and welcome your suggestions.
As with most non profit groups and clubs, very few people do the majority of the work. To avoid burn out for these few individuals, I would invite you to participate in our club and help spread the responsibility and ownership for our events. You can become more involved by sponsoring an event, joining the board, or just attending a board meeting. The more people who are involved, the better we will serve our membership!
We are also pursuing better ways to assimilate our new members and quickly involve them in our various activities.
I would urge every member to attend an event, assist with an event, or provide feedback on what we are doing, or should be doing – I urge you to become more active and not be content in watching others do the behind the scenes work!
Please contact a member of the board if you have an idea for a future event, if you would like to assist with an event already planned, or would like to become active in other ways.
We will continue to focus on providing events which enable us to drive our Porschess, as we are a car club!
Currently our club has 345 primary members and 205 affiliate members for a total of 550.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge the continued dedication of the CER board throughout this year and in many cases past years. Our board members can be contacted directly by reviewing the contacts tab on our website.
I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!
