All of our DE’s will be run at Roebling Road Raceway, Bloomingdale, GA. located near Savannah, GA.
All of these are 2 day driving events focused on developing high performance driving skills. Instructors will be provided for all students in the Green (novice)and Blue (advanced novice) groups.
In addition to track events your admission also includes a pizza social on Friday evening at the host hotel, the Springhill Suites, 1 Jay R Turner Dr, Savannah, GA 31408. The hotel phone # is: 912-330-5555. Please mention Coastal Empire Region Porsche Club of America for a group rate. The manager’s name is Tim Schaadt.
The price of admission also includes a Saturday night BBQ at the host hotel. Additionally, registrants will receive a tee shirt or equivalent memento of this event. To accommodate your family and friends, extra tickets for the BBQ and additional tee shirts are available when registering.

Our DE events are open to all makes and models. Convertibles must have factory installed roll over protection or after market roll bar that satisfies the ‘broomstick rule’ requirement. Contact us if there is a question or concern.
Our requirements are: (1) drivers must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license to enter, (2) your vehicle has to be safety-checked by a mechanic within two weeks of the event and re-checked by our tech team at the track-grid tech. (3) drivers must wear helmets(Snell 2010 or 2015 designation).
These events are multi-purpose with focus on teaching drivers with little to no track experience the fundamentals of high performance driving. We also accommodate those that have advanced skills and want additional track time. So whether you are interested in trying this type of event for the first time or are returning as an avid “track junkie,” we have something for all skill levels.
As a novice(Green) and advanced novice(Blue) student you will have classroom sessions and a full-time instructor in the car with you while on the track. This will greatly assist in understanding your skills and the capabilities of your car.
We will do Grid Tech/registration on Friday at 5 pm until 6:30 pm at the track. We will then resume Grid Tech/Registration at the track on Saturday from 7 to 7:45 AM.

These will be full format events on Sat/Sun with 2 instructed and 3 solo run groups.
For drivers in the Green/Novice, Blue/Advanced Novice and White/Intermediate solo run groups, we will have three (3) passing zones with a point by.
For participants in the Red/Instructor and Black/Advanced solo run groups will have open passing with a point by.
Please note the following:
PCA REGULATIONS SEVERELY LIMIT “TASTE OF THE TRACK” RIDE ALONGS FOR NON-DRIVING STUDENTS. IF OFFERED, SUCH RIDE ALONGS MUST BE AT LOW SPEED AND WITHOUT HELMETS. INSTRUCTORS MAY OFFER RIDE ALONGS TO DRIVING STUDENTS IN A RUN GROUP ONE STEP HIGHER THAN THE STUDENT’S GROUP. FOR EXAMPLE, AN INSTRUCTOR MAY GIVE A RIDE ALONG TO A BLUE STUDENT IN THE WHITE GROUP. DURING SUCH STUDENT RIDE ALONGS, THE INSTRUCTOR MUST DRIVE AT SPEEDS APPROPRIATE TO THE RUN GROUP AND MUST OBEY THE PASSING RULES FOR THAT GROUP.
